In case you haven’t heard the news, Mickey Mouse turns 90 this year and we’re celebrating in so many sweet and special ways!
On Sunday, the Mickey: The True Original Exhibition–an immersive art exhibit in New York City–was announced along with a few new food and fashion collaborations we can’t wait to taste and try. Today, Disney launched two of its sweetest partnerships in celebration of Mickey’s 90th with gourmet candy brand Sugarfina and Ample Hills Creamery.
Sugarfina’s Mickey Mouse 90thAnniversary Collection—a line of Candy Bento Boxes®, Candy Cubes®, and chocolate bars—is inspired by our most beloved character.
The brand’s classic cubed gummies come in strawberry-flavored Mickey Ears, birthday cake-flavored Mickey Gloves, and berry-flavored Mickey Buttons candies in Mickey’s signature colors.
Next in the Sugarfina collection are three rich chocolate bars topped with Mickey-shaped sprinkles, which make for easy and excellent gifts!
Lastly, are two Mickey boxes with the collector in mind. We know the candies probably won’t stick around too long, but the boxes are definitely a keepsake!
The Mickey Mouse Collection from Ample Hills Creamery is also a must try to celebrate the “True Original.” Flavors include Triple Chocolate Surprise, Peanut Butter Jamboree, and Confetti Celebration, and are each inspired by magical moments with Mickey and Minnie.
“In making these flavors, we found ourselves reflecting on the impact Mickey Mouse has had on our own lives throughout the years. He’s been a part of our family and our home through his television shows, movies, theme parks, toys, and so much more. We are excited to bring his past and present to life through our ice cream!” says co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Jackie Cuscuna.
