Happy Wednesday All! It’s been quite an adventure since we spoke last. Lately though, I feel like I’m saying that every week. It’s not a bad thing, not complaining, we’ve just been swamped! Let’s get to our chat!
So… Merry Christmas! Wait, it’s July, right? Well at Walt Disney World for a group of media guests, last Friday was Christmas in July. We had this last summer, and I was excited to do it again. It’s so much fun to be among the first to see what’s coming up for the Holiday Season, especially to see the new merchandise. Oh that shopping gets me every time. We met up with our Disney reps at Epcot, then began a tour through Adventures by Disney. They actually host the holiday tours, D-Lights and Yuletide Fantasy. D-Lights is a new one this year… and I couldn’t help but having “Groove is in the Heart” in my head most of the day. Please tell me you that you remember that song from the 90’s by Dee-Lite! Maybe? Ok, back to Christmas. We got to see the Holiday warehouses and such behind the scenes, but no pictures could be taken of course. It was SO awesome to walk in and see the scarecrows and pumpkins getting ready to be put out very soon at the Magic Kingdom. They had Christmas decor wrapped up in various places, and trees in sections that were lit up. I so wish I could have taken pictures. But you can take these tours for yourself, it’s pretty amazing. We went to Amorette’s at Disney Springs to decorate macaroons, then ended up back at Epcot for food and a merchandise preview. The upcoming Christmas merchandise is fabulous of course! I’ll post the video of Steven Miller telling us all about it below! I’m so glad that we were asked to attend, it was a festively fun day! On Monday night, we had a guest on our live show and we talked all about the Christmas event, I’ll link that for you as well!
This week we had an important decision to make regarding our side business, selling clothing, Disney in particular. We knew it was time for us to move on to something else that would be better for our shoppers and ourselves, and we did just that. Lost Princess Apparel was launched on Monday. Yes, the name is a nod to Tangled, as Rapunzel was “the lost princess.” See, I always have meaning behind things, I can’t help it. Anyway, in our new shop, we have shirts that are designed by TMSM staff, and we have partnered with a new clothing company to get people the Disney dresses and leggings that they want. It’s only been two days but we are off to a fantastic start. It was hard for me to make a change. Like Walt said, we have to keep moving forward, and I really had no choice in the matter. Sometimes we have to take a chance and strive for better, whether we are scared to do it or not. I’m so glad I made the switch, and others are too. Our website is www.lostprincessapparel.com. You can find the new store at Lost Princess Apparel on Facebook and Instagram, and join our shopping group at www.facebook.com/groups/lostprincessapparel. We have Disney inspired goodies, you’ll love it!

In addition to TMSM work and getting our new shop going, we have media events coming up too. I’ll be at Typhoon Lagoon this weekend so be sure to watch our social media outlets for that! That’s it for this week. Thank you all so much for following along, for watching our shows, and basically supporting all we do. I’m forever grateful. Until next time, sending you love, blessings and pixie dust! ~M
