It’s July 4th! Happy Independence Day everyone! Being that a lot of you out there are spending time with family and friends, I’ll keep this weeks update short!
The past week has been so busy, but oh so good. As most of you know, last Thursday and Friday was the media preview for Toy Story Land! It was such an honor to be there on the scene, to be able to report to you all first hand and get you as much information as possible. I have SO much footage on our YouTube channel under “The Main St Mouse” so be sure you check it out! Toy Story Land is incredible, Disney did an amazing job. The land itself has so much detail, you really have to take it all in once you get there. The rides are fun too. That Thursday, I think I rode Slinky Dog Dash four times. It’s a wonderful coaster, so much fun. It’s a smooth ride, and not too short either. Woody’s Lunchbox is the walk up restaurant back there, and the food is fantastic. That Friday, we recorded the opening ceremony for Toy Story Land. It was so exciting to be there, and when Tim Allen came out and stood next to Buzz Lightyear, it was the best. I’m so fortunate that I was able to see it all! This weeks live show, I gave you the play by play for the entire event, you can watch it on the link at the bottom. A big thank you to Disney for inviting me to share in the festivities, I’m beyond grateful.
We’ve been busy playing catch up, but last night I was finally able to get my family over to see Toy Story Land. I was hoping they’d love it as much as I did, and low and behold, they did! We rode Slinky Dog Dash twice, went on Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania, plus tried some food at Woody’s Lunchbox. Yes, we did it all. Toy Story Land is an awesome addition to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I’m sure you all will enjoy it too on your next vacation!
The videos that I’ve taken in the past week will show you everything that Toy Story Land has to offer! You can watch it all on our channel at
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTZnRx2kcuAQ182ZunYU4dg. There is a lot of footage, so get comfortable and grab a snack! It’s good stuff! Well, that’s it for this week, I’m getting ready to head out to spend the Fourth of July with my family. Thank you all SO much for watching our coverage of the opening of Toy Story Land. It was a joy to be able to share it all with you. Please have a safe holiday today! Until next time, sending you love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon! ~M
