Since the closing of Camp Minnie-Mickey in 2014 to make room for Pandora at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the lack of character meet-and-greets for guests has been apparent. That’s all about to change thanks to a new storyline featuring our favorite duck. According to Mark Renfrow, show director with Disney Parks Live Entertainment, “Donald just found out that he’s a descendant of dinosaurs. He’s thrilled!”

Donald is heading to DinoLand and kicking off Donald’s Dino-Bash on May 25th! What does that mean? More meet-and-greets for guests! There will be eight stations, including seven brand-new stations, scattered throughout DinoLand. Pluto will be in the Boneyard area and don’t be surprised to run into Launchpad McQuack and Scrooge McDuck!

Along with the meet-and-greet opportunities, there will also be a dance party, new audioscapes, Donald-driven signage throughout the land. All of the rides and attractions will remain the same.

Renfrow said, “It feels legit. It’s here forever. It’s going to feel much more alive and definitely have so much more for the family and the kids.”

Are you excited to hear about this change? Let us know in the comments!
