Looks like Disneyland is breaking out the can of Raid to do away with bugs, and by bugs, we mean ‘a bug’s land’. Last month, Disney announced plans to replace ‘a bug’s land’ at Disney California Adventure with a new land devoted to Marvel comic characters.
The new Marvel land is slated to open in 2020 and will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, which has become the highest rated attraction at Disneyland since it opened in 2017. Joining Guardians of the Galaxy will be Spiderman and the Avengers in what Disney is calling a ‘completely immersive Super Hero Universe.’
The main ‘a bug’s land’ attraction “It’s Tough to Be A Bug” theater closed on March 19th. The rest of the land will close later this summer.
