I’ve lived in Orlando for the better part of twenty years now, and while the nightlife in town has certainly changed during that time, the desire for great late-night offerings has never wavered. Once the sun sets, there’s a whole world of grown-up fun to be found at Disney Springs.
Discover a curated collection of late-night options for those that aren’t quite ready to call it a night when the clock strikes 10, or for anyone who is just getting their night started around that time. The hottest locations at The Landing, the neighborhood in the heart of Disney Springs, stay open ‘til 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and possibilities abound. You can choose one venue or mix and match locations, hopping from one to the next – the choice is yours. With late-night menus and entertainment that rocks until well after midnight, now is the time to rediscover what makes Disney Springs sizzle after dark. (Also appealing? There’s plenty of free parking and no cover charges!)
Whether you opt to stay and linger after dinner, decide to visit after a day in the Disney Theme Parks, or choose to come specifically for a little late-night fun, there are plenty of ways to make the night your own. Here are a few of my favorite ways to enjoy it:
NEW! The Edison: The hand-crafted cocktails speak for themselves, but when you add in entertainment that includes a mix of live musicians, flapper-style dancers, stunning aerialists and a DJ with a ready-to-go dance floor, it’s clear to see why The Edison has already become one of the most sought-after late-night destinations in Central Florida. Round out the evening with The Edison Burger, which takes center stage on their late-night menu.
NEW! Enzo’s Hideaway: Steps away, the speakeasy-vibe continues at this intimate hideout. Be on the lookout for a soloist who, when mixed with a rum beverage from the bar, will transport you back to a bygone era.
The BOATHOUSE: A live-band performs inside until midnight, but the over-the-water deck bar offers stunning nighttime views (cool breeze included) until the night concludes. Hungry? The full menu is available until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
The Forbidden Lounge at Morimoto Asia: A special entrance leads upstairs to a tucked-away Asian Ultra Lounge. This under-the-radar addition is a très chic, little-known gem that’s perfect for date night for two – split a few appetizers and signature cocktails – or a gathering with friends (in which case a pitcher of sake sangria is a must!).
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar: When the day crowd clears out, expect some fun additions, including larger-than-life games that give you permission to enjoy some friendly competition with friends, both old and new. If your late-night vibe is laid-back, then this is the place for you! Haven’t tried the “Sankara Stones and Barrels” yet? You should … they’re fried cheese curds and potato barrels that will soon be the late-night snack you dream about.
Paradiso 37: Looking for some Latin flare? The volume is turned up on this energetic venue where dancers and live music pair perfectly with the largest selection of tequila at Disney Springs. If you want a margarita that’s big enough to share, this is the spot to find it. Plus, the P37 nachos are available all night long, along with other favorites like Quesadillas, Canadian Poutine and North American Corn Dogs.
Raglan Road: For over a decade, this authentic-as-they-come Irish bar has been one of the very best late-night options in town. That hasn’t changed a bit – here, you can discover hearty pints (I’d suggest a Guinness), tasty bites (Fish & Chips for me, please!), and an entertainment line-up that’s so robust, they need a calendar to list it all! My favorite act has always been the award-winning Irish dancers, guaranteed to put some pep in your late-night step.
STK Orlando: Style and sophistication take center stage at this upscale steakhouse-turned-lounge once the dinner set departs. Hip DJs read the crowd and masterfully mix playlists to get the party started. Throw in some signature cocktails (the Cucumber Stiletto is my top pick) and get ready for a night to remember.
Anyone who knows me knows that I spend a lot of time at Disney Springs, even when I’m off-the-clock. When it comes to nightlife here, I’ve dressed to the nines and I’ve shown up in sweats. (Literally – sequins to terrycloth –I’ve done it all!) Come as you are, and I can pretty much promise you that you’ll find something to suit your late-night style.
