Disney Parks Bento Magic: Chef Figment

From the Disney Parks Blog and written by: Thomas Smith

Today, we’re taking our ongoing series of Disney-inspired bento box tutorials to this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival to create a fan favorite – Figment. As many of you know, chef Figment is the star of the Festival’s shirt and poster and that has inspired Disney Parks Blog reader and fan Mike Kravanis to create something special for you!

To create chef Figment, Mike cooks rice in butterfly pea flower tea and lemon juice to turn it purple before adding a tuna filling. Dry seaweed is used to create parts of Figment’s face with yellow American cheese and olives for eyes. Also, kale, peppers and broccoli make the bento box background. Watch the video and give it a try.

Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more Disney-inspired bento box tutorials in upcoming weeks.
