The latest Moonlight Magic events on the Disney Vacation Club calendar are turning Disney’s Animal Kingdom into Members’ own personal playground, and a new collection of exclusive merchandise is commemorating the after-hours experience.
Members attending the Moonlight Magic event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Sept. 6 were the first to discover the party’s Pumbaa-themed T-shirt (sizes S-XXL, $29.99 plus tax) and pin (limited edition of 1,500, $14.99 plus tax) at the Discovery Trading Post shop in the Park’s Discovery Island area. Look for those items at that same location when Moonlight Magic returns to the park on Sept. 13.
The D-Tech On-Demand shop within the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs, meanwhile, offers a Pumbaa-themed, customizable Moonlight Magic phone case (for iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6+, 7 and 7+, and Samsung Galaxy S5, S6 and S7) at prices ranging from $24.99-$32.99 plus tax. Also available at the D-Tech On-Demand shop is a Mickey Mouse-themed Moonlight Magic customizable Magic Band, available in blue, yellow, orange, red, pink, green, purple or gray (also $24.99-$32.99 plus tax).
Presented in 2017 as part of Membership Magic Ever After, Moonlight Magic events are complimentary, after-hours parties in Disney Parks, treating Members and special guests to shorter-than-usual wait times at popular attractions, special treats and entertainment, and more. Looking beyond the upcoming event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Moonlight Magic events are scheduled to take place at Disneyland park in California on Nov. 15, and at Epcot on Dec. 4 and 11. Watch the Event Calendar on the Plan Vacations tab at disneyvacationclub.com for details.
You should not purchase a real estate interest in a Disney Vacation Club Resort in reliance upon the continued availability of Membership Extras. These are incidental benefits, which are subject to change or termination without notice, may require payment of a separate fee, and cannot be combined with other offers. New Members after April 4, 2016 who do not purchase their ownership interest directly from Disney will not have access to Membership Extras.
