There’s a lot of buzz going around tonight from a non reputable source, a satire site, saying that Disney’s campgrounds are closing permanently. According to Disney, that’s not the case, it’s a temporary closure. Here’s the scoop~
All Disney Resorts will begin normal operation Sept. 12, 2017 with the exception of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Treehouse Villas. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground will remain closed at this time while assessments to the property are completed. To allow Disney’s Fort Wilderness to prepare the property after Hurricane Irma, all shows at The Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue and Mickey’s Backyard BBQ will be cancelled Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017. Any existing reservations will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
Yes, we reported this earlier, but people are worried that the Campgrounds are being closed forever, and there isn’t any word on that. If something like that were to happen, we’d report it of course. Call Disney World with questions, those of you who need assistance. Thanks so much!
