Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Orlando ~ Get the Scoop Below #MTfan

A big question I get from our readers, is “What else is there to do in Orlando besides visiting Disney World?” Well, Orlando and the surrounding areas are filled with fun and entertaining activities, and one of those is Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Orlando! Located just down the road from World Drive, Medieval Times Orlando is a fun time for the entire family. We went to Medieval Times last week for their dinner show, and we had a great time, my boys absolutely loved it. It’s like nothing you can do at the theme parks, it’s an event in itself.

When you check in, the employees give you a crown to wear, take a group photo of you and your party, then escort you to the “lobby” area where you can purchase souvenirs and drinks. The souvenir prices were very reasonable. I purchased flags for the kids and got myself a frozen drink in a souvenir glass that I got to take home.

When it was almost show time, your “color” gets announced and they take you in by sections. We were in the red section, right near the show floor. Our server Kerwin was fantastic. He brought us our dinner, which was chicken, corn on the cobb, garlic bread, a potato and lemon pound cake for dessert. As for drinks, they serve Pepsi products, ice tea, coffee and have a full bar menu.

The whole time you’re enjoying your dinner, there is a floor show going on with knights and horses. It’s amazing. Each section has their own Knight to cheer on, again we had the Red Knight, and he actually won the tournament. The show is very interactive, there’s never a dull moment. I’m so glad we spent our evening at Medieval Times, it’s something we won’t soon forget! You can see highlights of the show on the video below!
