Two desserts at Disney cause a good deal of confusion. This of course may be because they are both ice cream sundaes and share the same name “kitchen sink” but these two items are very different and tonight we are going to explain why!
Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae
- 2 scoops of hand-scooped chocolate, your choice of one sauce (Hot fudge, Peanut Butter, Caramel, or Strawberry Sauce), chocolate and peanut butter chips, whipped cream and a cherry
At Disneyland guests have a LOT more choices to make when they order their Mickey’s Kitchen Sink. Currently guests can choose from the following five* versions of Mickey’s Kitchen Sink, which are all currently priced at $13.49 before tax. The following are per the official Disneyland Menu:

The Kitchen Sink
The original “Kitchen Sink” is a whooper of a sundae and is only available at Beaches and Cream, a table service dining location at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It is highly recommended you make a reservation at Beaches and Cream if you want to tackle the Kitchen Sink. Many Disneyland guests may remember it being available at PCH Grill at Paradise Pier but it seems during the restaurant’s last major redo it was discontinued.
The Kitchen Sink “Serves 4” and currently per the official Disney Dining site costs $29* before tax and the metal sink bowl it is served in does not go home with guests. Per the Disney Parks Blog the Original Kitchen Sink is made using the following:
- ½ cup fudge topping, warmed
- ½ cup butterscotch topping, warmed
- ½ cup peanut butter topping, warmed
- 1 medium banana, sliced in 1/2 –inch slices
- 1 cinnamon spice cupcake (2 ½ x 1 ¼-inch), quartered
