Top 9 Mickey-Shaped Foods

From the Oh My Disney blog, they put together a list of their Top 9 Mickey shaped foods.  I actually had the pretzel yesterday while at the Magic Kingdom, and saw this blog and decided it was a great one to share with all our readers.  So what is your personal favorite Mickey Shaped food?

“I hope we never lose sight of one thing: it was all started by some food shaped like a mouse.”

Okay, so maybe Walt didn’t say exactly that, but the mouse he created is a legend on screen just as much as he is off screen. Specifically, off screen and on food. We’re referring, of course, to the seemingly bottomless treasure trove of Mickey-shaped foods at Disney Parks.

Here are our favorites, ranked from yummy to yummiest.

9. Gingerbread Cookie

The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year for chocolate-dipped gingerbread cookies. This holly, jolly piece of heaven comes along just once a year and is served out of a life-sized gingerbread house. Consider it added to our wish list, Santa. 8. Fruit Tart Cookie

The only thing better than a sweet biscuit atop a fruit tart is a Mickey-shaped sweet biscuit atop a fruit tart. Bonus: This dessert has fruit, so it’s healthy. Right? Riiiiiiiiiight. Take a bite at: BoardWalk Bakery (Walt Disney World Resort)

7. Sprinkles

Sprinkles make the world go ’round. Mickey makes the world go ’round. Thus, Mickey-shaped sprinkles make the world go ‘round. It just makes sense. These sprinkles are apparently “optional” on ice cream bars, but there’s clearly only one right option. Take a bite at: Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream (Disneyland Resort)

This Disney dessert is the perfect portable sweet treat (and extremely Instagram-able). Much like its distant on-a-stick cousin, the corn dog, it’s great to tote around the park. And complements any outfit. The perfect accessory! Take a bite at: Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort

5. Pretzel

The Salt Disney Company (joke) knows a thing or two about the pretzel biz. Oversized, perfectly browned, and served nice and hot. In other words, bread is the best. Not pictured: the equally list-worthy ooey, gooey cheese dip. Take a bite at: Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort

4. Chocolate-Covered Apple

Ah, the sugar-coated apple of our eye. Whether it’s Halloween Minnie or Santa Mickey, there’s a Disney Parks apple for every day of the year. Plus, the ears are made of marshmallows, so bonus points all around to this hefty delight. Take a bite at: Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort

There’s PB&J. There’s grilled cheese. And then there’s the one and only Mickey Mouse Cookies ‘N Cream Ice Cream Sandwich, ranking supreme above all other sammies. And a Mickey treat that includes all of his facial features is a rare gem. Take a bite at: Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort
