Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! It’s getting closer to Christmas! Are you ready? Me? Not so much. I haven’t finished my Christmas shopping, but I guess I do well under pressure, so that’s good. It’s weird because it feels like the season has gone by fast, even though Disney has been celebrating since November 1st! Speaking of Disney….. We had to squeeze in a bit more festive fun before Christmas, so that’s what we did on Friday!
The parks have been super busy, so we tried to think of the one that would be the easiest and least hectic, so Hollywood Studios it was. That night, the Studios was doing two fireworks shows, Jingle Bell Jingle BAM and the return of their Star Wars show that had been on hiatus. Of course we had to stay for both. The park was busy, but we met up with friends, got a drink, went on Tower of Terror….. all in all a good night. I wanted to see some more of the Christmas fun while I could, and I’m glad we were able to. The kids also wanted to get out of the house and spend time with their friends to kick off the start of Christmas vacation! It was a great evening!
We stayed out pretty late on Friday, so Saturday we caught up on work and I did some baking. Christmas cookies are a weakness of mine, I fully admit that. So why make more? Well, tis the season, so I just went with it! That’s what New Years Resolutions are for, and of course I’ll be working on getting back on track diet wise once the holidays are done. Our TMSM Emporium did really well last week, so we had a lot of boxes to take to the post office. I really appreciate all of you who supported our shop this Christmas season, it was a blessing for sure! We’ll open it back up after the holidays!
So the kids are home for two weeks, and Christmas is this coming weekend, and I’m planning on enjoying as much family time as I can. This Christmas season has been a bit of a struggle, but I’m coping the best I can. This year has been rough for so many, us included. With that, I’d like to extend big hugs out there to anyone else who is having a hard time right now, we’ll get through this and thankfully a new year is almost upon us. There’s always hope for prosperity. Giving someone an extra hug, a moment of your time, or saying kind words are all presents you can give for free, and sometimes that means more than any package you can put under the tree. A little kindness goes a long, long way! There are so many of you who have been good to me this year, extended support and love, and I’m very thankful. Our TMSM family is amazing, and I’m forever grateful for that. To all of you out there….. from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, filled with love, magic and pixie dust. Until next week… See ya real soon! ~M
