New “Highway in the Sky Dine-Around” Eat Around The Monorail Dining Package Announced

Starting next month at Walt Disney World the three monorail resort dining locations will be hosting a new specialty dining event called “Highway in the Sky Dine-Around”  This new package which will be offered on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays starting December 2nd (except for block out on December 18 and January 3) will take guests around the monorail loop to enjoy dining options at various dining locations in a five course meal.  Valet parking at the Contemporary will be included.

The meal starts off at the Contemporary’s Wave for check-in and specialty cocktails and appetizers. Once done with the first course guests will then board the monorail with priority boarding to head to the Polynesian where you will “celebrate the spirit of the South Pacific and luxuriate in the charm of this exotic retreat, with an enticing variety of island-inspired libations and appetizers.” The next course will take place at Cítricos at the Grand Floridian where you will be ” treated to a special Chef’s main course selection.”  Following you meal you will then go to the resort’s lobby for artisanal cheeses and champagne. The last course takes you back to the Contemporary and a private patio for an “assortment of desserts, cordials and coffee” while you watch Wishes.

Reservations for “Highway in the Sky Dine-Around” open on November 29. The cost for this dining experience will be $150 plus tax and gratuity and it must be canceled “at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting the full price of the experience.”, Disney dining plan can not be used for “Highway in the Sky Dine-Around.” Per Disney you will want to check-in at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation time at the Wave which is also when you will alert Disney to any food allergies. Guests that are 21 and old will need to show proof of age to consume alcoholic drinks.
