I just love watching “Wishes” at the Magic Kingdom. No matter how many times I see it, my heart still swells with Disney magic. We’re creatures of habit though, and always watch Wishes in front of Cinderella Castle, like most do. Sometimes though, it’s just too darn crowded, and you need to find an alternate viewing location. Behind the Castle is another great spot, so is in Frontierland…. but I think I found my new favorite back up location for watching Wishes! The Tangled Rest Area! Sure, I’m a little biased because I LOVE Tangled, but it’s really beautiful seeing the fireworks pop behind the lanterns! Not only is it a great place to see fireworks, but there’s hardly anyone back there during that time. A lot of people don’t realize that the fireworks aren’t actually all by the Castle, some are shot from different locations further back, so this spot is perfect! Again, it’s so pretty. I can’t wait to go back and take my good camera for better photos! In the meantime, here’s the Wishes finale that I recorded from the Punzie Potties!
