Bootle Beetle was released August 22, 1947. The shorts stars Donald Duck and Bootle Beetle. In the short a young beetle attempts to run away from home, but is stopped by a lesson about the dreaded bug collector, Donald Duck.
Bootle Beetle is an elderly bootle beetle who is a friend of Bucky Bug who lives in Junkville and is often asked for his wise advice by the town’s residents. He was also Donald Duck’s arch enemy in some Donald Duck cartoon shorts.
