Disney Confessions ~ What have you NEVER done?

Re-post!

I consider myself a seasoned Disney goer, as I’ve been to Walt Disney World more times than I can count. However, I started to think about things that I have NOT done at Disney, and to my surprise, came up with quite a few. There are even popular Disney movies that I haven’t seen, gasp! So, it’s confession time….. here’s a few on my “never done” list; Ohana, LeCellier (among a lot of popular restaurants), Tomorrowland Speedway, Ellen’s Energy Adventure, and didn’t do the Country Bear Jamboree until last year, just to name a few. As for movies, I’ve never seen Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, and even a few more. The shame, I know! Don’t judge! I decided that I’d poll our readers, to see who else had some Disney skeletons in their closet that they’d like to share, and I got quite a bit of feedback! Here are some Main Streeter confessions on what they’ve never done at Disney~

Dawn Muller Starwald ~ I have never made Rope Drop.

Theresa Vester ~ I’ve never done Carousel of Progress, or Figment. I’ve never seen Saving Mr. Banks.

Cindy Knoll-Bennett ~ I’ve never been to the water parks!

Laurie Jennings Sapp ~ I’ve only stayed on property one night out of all our many many visits over the last few years! Yikes! We have found that it is just cheaper for us to get a room off property. We live within a few hours of WDW and visit often so we figure we can afford more trips and park time if we spend less on rooms.

Jayne May ~ Never done Splash Mountain. I don’t like wet socks or pants..

Candice Davis ~ I haven’t seen Princess and the Frog…. Didn’t see Tangled until this year. Never had a Dole Whip or seen Fantasmic.

Stephanie Ridgdill Matthews ~ I’ve never been in the Enchanted Tiki Room or Carousel of Progress. Never seen Illuminations. Haven’t seen Big Hero 6 or The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Kevin Starr ~ I’ve never seen The Black Cauldron or rode The Astro-Orbiters.

Bryan Rose ~ Flights of Wonder Bird Show at Animal Kingdom!

Lori Kamp-Davis ~ I haven’t been to Tom Sawyer’s Island or Conservation Station. And actually haven’t seen Impressions of France or Oh Canada either. Hmmm guess I’d better start saving for another trip.

Teri Carpenter ~ Never rode Space Mountain!

Vickie Murph Kearns ~ Hall of Presidents, Captain EO, Ellen D, almost everything at Animal Kingdom.

Robert Carlson ~ Rock n Roller Coaster!

Jackie Kutney ~ I’ve never seen Star Wars! Been on the ride a lot though…

These are just SOME of the many submissions that I received! It sure made me feel a lot better about missing out on certain Disney things, I’m not alone there! So, what’s your Disney confession? Be sure to tell us about it in the comments! Thanks to all of our readers who sent us feedback, we appreciate it! ~M

  1. I’ve done most of the above “haven’t’s”, including all of the author’s, but I’ve never done a Park tour! There are several I’d like to do – maybe next year .I’ve also never been to the Parks over the Christmas holidays – I have done Flower & Garden, Food and Wine, Halloween Party, but not Christmas. And I’ve never seen the Electrical Water Parade (not sure if that’s the right name).
