Last week we announced that there were big changes coming to runDisney’s medals starting with the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend and even shared the new Country Bears themed metal 5k medal with you. Today, runDisney announced the rest of the medal lineup.
This year’s Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend medals will feature quite the collection of Disney characters we learned today. The children’s race medallion will feature Timon and Pumba from the Lion King. The 5k medal will feature the Country Bears, the 10k medal will feature Genie, Aladdin and Abu flying on Carpet, the Half Marathon medal will feature a running Mickey and Pluto, and the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge medal will feature Dumbo!
