Since yesterday’s horrible tragedy at the Grand Floridian, many people have asked if Disney will be installing new “Danger” signs to warn guests that alligators are in the area. The Orlando Sentinel has just confirmed that Disney is discussing putting up signs warning visitors of alligators.
Per the Sentinel “Walt Disney World plans to put up signs warning visitors of alligators following an attack that killed a young boy Tuesday, a source with knowledge of the situation has told the Orlando Sentinel.
It is not clear how many signs there will be or where they will be posted.
Disney spokeswoman Jacquee Wahler issued a statement Thursday afternoon saying “we are conducting a swift and thorough review of all of our processes and protocols. This includes the number, placement and wording of our signage and warnings.”
At this time the beaches at Disney are still closed with no known date of when they will reopen and an exact date of when these new signs will be installed was not announced.
