Earlier this year we shared that the “Symphony of the Stars” fireworks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be replaced this summer by the new “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular.” We now have an official start date of June 17 for the new “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” show.
This new nightly show “will be the most elaborate fireworks display in this park’s history and will combine fireworks, pyrotechnics, special effects and video projections that will turn the park’s Chinese Theater and other buildings into the twin suns of Tatooine, a field of battle droids, the trench of the Death Star, Starkiller Base and other Star Wars destinations. And the show, which will feature music from throughout the film franchise, will be punctuated with a tower of fire and spotlight beams, creating a massive lightsaber in the sky.”
A dessert party has yet to be confirmed for this event, but we are keeping an eye out!

Wonder if it will still be showing in Nov. or maybe a new show by then. I will just have to watch this awesome site for all new info.
