If you remember the old FastPass ticket system, you may recall that you could get FastPass+ throughout your entire day at any of the Walt Disney World parks. You would get your paper FastPass and hold on to that and redeem it, then you could get another FastPass and wait for that attraction and use this method throughout the day. When the FastPass+ system was introduced, one of the biggest complaints we heard was the limit of three passes each day. Then it was added that after you have used the three you had, you could go to one of the kiosks in the park and add a fourth attraction, then after a fifth and so on till the day was over.
Starting today, after you have used your first three FastPass+ selections, you will be able to make an additional FastPass+ selection through the mobile app My Disney Experience. You can still go up to the Kiosk, but the availability to use the app will make the whole process faster and you will be able to avoid the lines for the kiosks.
More enhancements includes choosing individual FastPass+ experiences and times, and will no longer need to make all the selections for the same day at the same time. You will be able to continue to select up to three experiences in advance, but if you want to, you will be able to select fewer, you have that ability.
These changes will allow guests to have more FastPass+ options, in a more convenient way, which is something a lot of people have been waiting for. Stay tuned for more park news as we hear.
