Today, our friends over at TeeFury.com have two new shirts battling in today’s TwoFury competition. The first shirt honestly I wasn’t sure where it came from, but through some research and asking a teenager, I found its based on the character Red VIII from the Final Fantasy video game franchise going against the Princess from the Star Wars Universe in today’s TeeFury TwoFury competition.
The first shirt is called “The Canyon’s Guardian.” I didn’t recognize the image honestly, but I’m not a gamer. I asked our resident teenager and he wasn’t sure but believed it could be from Final Fantasy. After finding that I was able to research and found this is based on the character Red XIII from Final Fantasy VII. The artist, PencilMonkey describes the shirt as:”This is inspired by my favourite game. Its a tribute to one of its most iconic characters and locations.”
The second shirt today is called “You’re My Only Hope.” This shirt shows the Princess of the Star Wars Universe, Princess Leia with the background made up of the Rebel Alliance symbol. The name of the shirt comes from the message Leia recorded into R2-D2 to be delivered to General Kenobi. The artist Alemaglia describes this image as “The princess is a symbol of rebellion, woman of action against the Empire. I’m a big fan of the movie and the character and I hope you like it too!”
