Today In Disney History ~ February 17th
Ruth was born on in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. After her mother died in 1911, Ruth moved to Los Angeles to live with her aunt who as an actress. Ruth voices Minnie Mouse from 1942-1952, and during this time also shared the task of Daisy Duck’s voice with Gloria Blondell. Ruth died in 1998, 2 1/2 months short of her 99th birthday.
