This past summer at the D23 Expo it was announced that Disney would be releasing a new Disney Princess themed campaign centered around each of the 11 official Disney Princesses positive character traits and the qualities that help them achieve their dreams. Last week Disney announced that their new “Dream Big, Princess” was now live, and would “bring these great stories front and center to inspire girls and kids around the world to realize their full potential and dream big.”
Over the next year this new campaign with the tagline “For every girl who dreams big, there’s a princess to show her it’s possible.” will air on Disney TV channels. The campaign states that it will “be celebrated with new themes each month tied to the Disney Princesses, such as kindness, friendship and adventure. If you’re staying in one of our resorts or ships, tune your in-room TV to the Company Clips channel to experience the stories of real-life young girls who have dreamed big.”
The new official website for this campaign tells visitors what each Princesses key positive attribute is at the top of her page:

What about the boys? They need just as much encouragement as girls. Does Disney only care about the girls? My son likes watching Disney shows so it’s disappointing that Disney is ignoring half of its fan base.
