Happy Wednesday Everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and staying warm! We’ve got some chilly temps again down here in Florida! The news channels go nuts when it’s like this, saying that we could get a “frost” and it’s a big deal. So funny for this Michigan girl to see! Anyhow, it’s time to catch up, so let’s do that!

Last weekend was a rainy one, which is a bummer around here because all the fun activities are outdoors. Mardi Gras started at Universal Studios, so we headed over to check it out. They have weekend concerts, parades, special foods and merchandise… and it’s all pretty fun. However, it rained, and rained, and rained….. no parade for us. The concert was a country artist, someone I hadn’t heard of, so we didn’t stick it out. We gave up and went to CityWalk and had dinner at Margaritavile. Sigh, I love that place. There’s something about the Jimmy Buffet music, island atmosphere, and of course the cheeseburgers and margaritas! One of my favorites!
We have been pretty busy, and haven’t had much time for Disney. I know, gasp! When the weekends are rained out, we tend to lay low. Sunday was the Super Bowl, as you know, so we went to Sam’s Club, got snacks, and came home to watch the game. I’m still hoping that one of these days, we’ll get to see our beloved Detroit Lions in the game! I know, that’s funny, isn’t it? This coming weekend is Valentine’s Day, and also my birthday, but we’re not doing a Disney birthday fun day for me till next week. Too much else is going on, and that’s ok. There’s something about spending your birthday at Disney that’s truly magical. Last year was my first one, and I have to say, it was probably one of the best birthday’s I’ve ever had. Being away from family is hard, and last year was rough, but Disney made it better. They’re good for that, right?
So that’s it for this week. People have been asking about when we’re going to do more meet ups, and I promise that we’re working on some dates. Meeting our readers is truly a high point for me, I love it. Hang in there, details will come soon. As always, thank you so much for reading and for following us each week! Till next time, sending you lots of love, blessings and pixie dust! See ya real soon….. and Happy Valentine’s Day! ~M
