Today In Disney History ~ January 19th
The first Tinkerbell Half Marathon was held on Jan. 27-29, 2012. In 2014 it was announced that the Marathon Weekend would move from January to May in 2015. In August 2015 it was announced the Star Wars Half Marathon event would be held at the Disneyland resort in January 2015. The 2016 Tinkerbell Half Marathon will be held May 5-8, 2016 at the Disneyland resort. Events include the Tinkerbell Half Marathon, Tinkerbell 10k, Neverland 5k and runDisney fun races.
The 2017 Tinkerbell Half Marathon will be held May 11-5, 2017 at the Disneyland resort, with registration opening on September 20, 2016
