Next Saturday at 8PM ET, ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ will return to ABC for the first time since 2012, and Mary Poppins will air on network television for the first time in thirteen years! The event, which is sponsored by Target, will be hosted by Dick Van Dyke and Target’s mascot Bullseye.
During commercial breaks the special hosts will that viewers into the Disney Archives to show them prop from the movie and other Disney items. The archive footage and interview material is brand new, so even if you have watched the latest Bluray release of Mary Poppins you will want to tune in!
ABC will also air all of the new Target ad campaign “Holiday Odyssey” a series of animated commercials in their entirety during this event which ends at 11 PM ET. For exact times and channels consult ABC.com!
