Earlier this morning (between 3 and 4am ET to be exact) we shared the new Walt Disney World annual pass initial purchase pricing with you. We now have more information for you on Walt Disney World changes, and Disneyland information. Pricing below goes into full effect this morning for any new purchases or renewals.
Walt Disney World
At Walt Disney World passes all include parking now. Parking went up $3 per car to an even $20 a day. Single and Multi-Day tickets were not effected. Passholders are still eligible to receive a 10% discount on select merchandise purchases at Walt Disney World Resort owned and operated Merchandise Locations, exact information on discounts can be found in the WDW AP Portal. New perks are not back dated to Annual Passes activated or purchased before 10/4/15.
*Updated to include information on the Photo download option to select passes and ticket to AP upgrades:
APs must also now ALWAYS show their AP ID Card for AP discounts and perks.
Annual Passholders may only download their PhotoPass photos for free, meaning they can not download photos friends share with them.
“Entitlement includes discounted prices on prints and physical product purchases, is non-transferable and benefits do not extend to photos of Family & Friends. Access and downloading is not available for photos captured after pass expiration or after a pass is removed from a Disney account.”
These photo entitlements must be directly connected to their MagicBand and MDE account. There also seems to be some confusion as to WHAT a PhotoPass photo is. PhotoPass photos are images taken by PhotoPass photographers. Memory Maker Maker is a PhotoPass product that can be purchased.
If a guest has purchased individual day tickets and Memory Maker and are planning on upgrading to an AP while at the park, they should do this exchange before using PhotoPass. The price of the tickets and Memory Maker will be applied towards the cost of the AP. Existing AP holders (and those who have AP vouchers that they have not yet activated) may pay the difference of the price from 10/3 to 10/4/15 to receive all the perks available as of today, but this will not have a discounted price for AP’s that have already been activated. APs who have purchased Memory Maker recently, but have not used it, may apply this purchase price towards that upgrade and receive a refund if there is any overage.
