We have been waiting to hear an official word on this one, and it seems we finally have it. Duffy the Disney Bear will be making his final appearance at Epcot on October 3rd, Walt Disney World confirmed today. Starting on October 4th, Daisy Duck will be taking his spot at the opening of World Showcase.
Duffy isn’t being eliminated though, there will still be merchandise across property featuring Duffy and his outfits. We recently reported that Fun Finds at Downtown Disney now has a huge Duffy section as well, so that’s good news for Duffy fans. No word yet if Duffy will be doing a meet and greet in a new location, but we’ll be watching for updates!
