It was released under Disney’s Touchstone Pictures banner and grossed $11,226,239 in 1,045 theaters during its opening weekend, it earned $329,803,958. in the US and Internationally. “Who Framed Roger Rabbit is the first live action-animation hybrid to win four Academy Awards, and became the first animated film to win multiple Academy Awards since Mary Poppins in 1964.”
