The Refurb Date for Pirates of the Caribbean has Changed at WDW!

pirates_caribbean-0

As we previously reported, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Walt Disney World is scheduled for an extended closure for refurbishment this year. Originally scheduled to be closing on May 11th, the start date for the Pirates of the Caribbean refurbishment has been changed.

According to the WDW Refurbishment Schedule, POTC will now be closing on June 8, 2015. It’s going to be closed for the entire summer, much to guests dismay. There is a tentative reopening date of Sept. 26, 2015. If we hear any more changes, we’ll be sure to update you!
