Happy Wednesday Main Streeters! It’s time to catch up on what’s been going on down here in Florida, and let me tell you, it’s crazy busy here! Last week the Parks were crowded, but this week it’s even busier. Traffic around Disney Property is rough, a lot of extra time is needed to get where you need to go, even when we take the kids to school. There are a lot of Spring Break vacationers in town this week, and it’s funny because we’ve seen a LOT of people with various Michigan shirts on, it’s nice to see. I know this week up north everyone is off from school and Florida is always the destination that people choose. I remember when I was a Senior in high school, everyone was planning Spring Break vacations to the beaches or a cruise, but you won’t be surprised to hear that I went to Disney World instead! Of course!
Even though Disney has been busy, we’ve still ventured out to get some pictures for the site and such. Yes, I’m still carrying around my camera that Kingdom Camera’s gave me to use, and I’m loving it. I actually met Lenise from Kingdom Camera’s at Pop Century last week for a lesson in photo editing. She’s a great teacher and I’m really enjoying taking Disney photos and learning to process them. Are the kids tired of me stopping to take a photo or making them smile and pose for me? Oh yes, but it’s not too bad. There are so many great details across Disney property that I never had noticed before, but thanks to learning a bit about photography, I’m noticing a lot more. Epcot is a great place to take pictures, there is so much to see. Yes, it’s very busy at Disney World this time of year, but it sure is pretty too! We went with friends to take pics at the Magic Kingdom last Saturday night, and during the day we went to Typhoon Lagoon for the first time (that the boys remember actually). We had a fun day. Easter was a little sad, being away from family for the first time. Andrew (older half of Monsters Inc) was sick so we stayed home all day and ended up ordering pizza for our Easter dinner. Talk about different! But all is better now, and we’re getting back on track!
This coming weekend will be very busy. We actually have media passes to MegaCon, the big comic book convention in Orlando, and my parents are coming in for a visit. After my mom being so sick and having surgery, I’m so excited that they will be down here with us for the week enjoying a little Florida sunshine. I will tell you guys all about it of course, so stay tuned. Thanks as always for reading my Florida Living updates, I truly appreciate it. Until next week, sending you lots of love, blessings and pixie dust! See Ya Real Soon! ~M
