Random Acts Of Kindness: Super Hero’s Settle Super Bowl Bet

Marvel and movie fans know the names Chris Evans and Chris Pratt.  They are both huge name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  Chris Evans is of course Steve Rogers aka Captain America and Chris Pratt is Peter Quill aka Star-Lord.

Before Super Bowl XLIX took place, these two actors and friends made a wager, some say a Super-Hero size wager.  Chris Pratt was raised in Washington and is a Seattle Seahawks fan, while Chris Evans was born and raised in Massachusetts and is a New England Patriot.  Funny that he would grow up to become Captain American, the biggest Patriot ever.

Back to the bet, the wager was this.  If Pratt and the Seahawks would win the game, Evans would visit Seattle Children’s Hospital as Captain America.  If Evans and the Patriots win, Pratt would visit Christopher’s Haven as Star-Lord.

Chris and Chris would take in the game together this past Sunday.  We all know the New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28 – 24.

After the game, Chris Pratt took to Twitter with this message:

Shortly there after, Chris Evans took to Twitter himself with a couple of back to back tweets:

Chris Evans

Chris Evans 2

It doesn’t matter if you are a Patriots or a Seahawks fan, if you like or don’t like Tom Brady or Richard Sherman.  These two celebrities are taking the time from their busy schedule and going to give these kids a time they will never forget.  The Super Bowl is over and it didn’t matter who won or who lost, in the end the kids of Christopher’s Haven and Seattle Children’s Hospital are the winners.

I applaud both Chris Pratt and Chris Evans for keeping their words and even though they play Super Hero’s on the big screens, i’m sure they will both see the heroic days those kids in both hospitals go through each and every day, and maybe they will just have a few new hero’s themselves when they leave that day.
