Lego Announces “LEGO Ideas” Second 2014 Review Results Which Include A Pixar Favorite!

imagesLego has a great program called “Lego Ideas” this program allows builders to submit new ideas for Lego sets. To participate the builder must build a model, take photos and submit a write up of their project. Submitted ideas are then shared on the “Lego Ideas” site and if an idea can get 10,000 supporters Lego then sends the idea to their Review Board. This board will choose which ideas go into production.
If a builders idea is chosen to become a set they will per Lego receive “5 complimentary copies of your LEGO Ideas set; Credit and bio in set materials as the LEGO Ideas set creator and 1% of the total net sales of the product (this includes projects featuring original models based on third-party intellectual property such as a game, TV show, or movie).Today Lego announced the winners of the Second 2014 review. The 11th and 12th sets that will go into production. Lego is still working on final designs and has yet to announce sale pricing or dates for either winning set.LEGO Ideas #011 WALL-E: Angus MacLane created the model of WALL-E

The third 2014 Lego Review is still being held, and winners for that round should be announced in the Spring of 2015, but check out the amazing Avengers Hellcarrier and Flying Dutchman that are in the running for that Review panel!
