Although Animal Kingdom is full of construction right now it’s still fun to visit. I recently visited on Friday and was greeted with all of the construction walls, but I didn’t let that ruin my fun!

Parrot

We had fast passes for Expedition Everest, but I got a little sidetracked when I saw some beautiful macaws. I just had to take pictures of them! They were too beautiful not too! A cast member was talking about the macaws when she asked for a volunteer. My little sister shot her hand up and she was picked! The most amazing thing happened next! She was told to close her eyes and imagine a place full of macaws. Guess what happens next?! A bunch of macaws flew over our heads! They were so beautiful! I was in awe!

Everest

We of course went on Expedition Everest after that! I love the thrilling 80 foot drop and the backwards part! The ride is just overall amazing! Another one of my favorites is the Kilimanjaro Safari! All the animals were out in the nice, cool weather! The lions were even up and moving! The cheetahs were out as well! There were so many animals out that it made our day even better!

Festival of the LK

We went to see my favorite show on property next! The Festival of the Lion King! That show is full of fun! It’s colorful and makes me smile every time I see it! My favorite part is when the bird dancers are dancing to Can You Feel the Love Tonight. The show is absolutely beautiful!

We had a great time! I can’t wait until we go back! What’s your favorite thing to do at Animal Kingdom?

About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
