Following the recent launch of a Frozen-inspired Code.org programming tutorial, Disney is furthering their support of computer science education with a new tech talk from Big Hero 6 producer Roy Conli. Roy sat down in the Walt Disney Animation Studio to discuss the role that technology plays in telling modern animated stories, and how it has inspired Disney’s latest blockbuster. The result is a fascinating look behind the scenes of the filmmaking process from one of today’s top veteran producers who knows it best.

Launched in 2013, Code.org is a non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science by making it available in more schools, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science.
