The Disney Parks Blog has just confirmed that the steak house STK will open a new location, “STK Orlando” in the Landing section of Disney Springs in Walt Disney World in 2015. STK Orlando will be a “modern steakhouse mixed with the ambiance of a sleek lounge.”
STK Orlando will be housed in a 2-story 14,000 sq. ft. building, this steakhouse is one of several confirmed new dining options coming to Disney Springs in 2015. STK’s menu includes fish, steak, and per STK’s website “signature items include Parmesan Truffle Fries; Lil’ BRGs; Shrimp Rice Krispies; Sweet Corn Pudding; and Jump Lump Crab Salad.” One of STK’s unique characteristics is that each location has a DJ and guests, and because STK focuses on the “social experience” diners are encourages to mingle and interact with each other in fun and unique atmosphere.
Per the Parks Blog Article the CEO of ONE Group Jonathan Segal was quoted as saying ““We are thrilled to join the Disney Springs family with the launch of STK Orlando. The combination of an innovative menu and high-energy atmosphere has driven the success of STK, and we believe it will be an ideal addition to Disney Springs, and will help further cement its status as a place for friends and family to gather for fine dining and entertainment.””
STK also has locations in New York – Downtown, New York – Rooftop,
New York – Midtown , Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, and
Washington D. STK is owned by The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc.
Other new dining experiences that have been confirmed to open in 2015 in Disney Springs include THE BOATHOUSE and Morimoto Asia which were announced on 10/28/14.
