I recently went to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) for the first time in my life. It’s surprising, considering I’ve had AP’s my whole life. Even though Halloween is now over and it’s time for the Christmas lights, I thought you would like to hear about my experience!
There’s so much to do in so little time! There were stage shows, dance parties, fireworks, meet and greets, and a parade. My favorite was the parade. Especially the part with the headless horseman. The Headless Horseman started the parade riding down Main Street on his horse.
The fireworks were amazing! The castle has little ghosts projected onto it that makes the fireworks extra amazing. Before the fireworks, there was a villain’s stage show in front of the castle. Basically, all the villains came out on stage. They danced to their different villain songs. It was so cool!
The most exciting thing was meeting all of my favorite characters. There were characters that are never out and there are classics in their Halloween costumes. Lotso and Jafar were by far my favorite to meet. Lotso, being the giant teddy bear he is, was so soft and cuddly! Jafar was so tall and overall super cool to see.
Overall, I LOVED MNSSHP. It was so fun! I don’t think that I’ve smiled so much at Disney in a long time! If you’ve been, what is YOUR favorite thing to do at MNSSHP?
About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
