This week’s update is a big one, because we had our TMSM Fall Meet Up at Epcot on Saturday, Ocotber 25th, and it was an amazing success! I couldn’t have asked for a better day, so lets talk about how things went!
I had been preparing for this weekend for a long time, and when it was finally here I was super excited, yet nervous all rolled into one. I had my friends from home coming to the meet up, and staying with me, lots of Disney friends coming to town, and quite a bit of Main Streeters that I’d never met before planning on being at Epcot on Saturday. In my usual fashion, I worried and stressed because I really wanted the day to be fun for all, and truly, it was. People had a great time and I was so thankful that they came out to join the fun. We had roughly 100 people give or take show up, and it was the best feeling. Getting to meet people that have become extended Disney family is a wonderful thing. We met for lunch at the Electric Umbrella, then headed over to Soarin where more people were waiting. After that, we pulled some strings and got to do a private character meet with just our group and Mickey, Minnie and Goofy. I wish that the whole group would have been there for that, because it was truly Disney magic at it’s finest. Some went ahead, some were already at World Showcase, but the group that got to go in with the characters had a great experience!
Another great thing about the meet up, was that for the first time since we started TMSM, all of our mods were together. Yes, we’ve worked together for almost 5 years, but we’ve never been in the same place at the same time. Well, Autumn and I have, but Corey and Mike haven’t. It’s a good feeling to be with the people who supported us from the beginning, and gives us that extra push to move forward for another 5 years!
Part of the group met up at 6:00 (top picture) for a photo, then we headed over to World Showcase for some drinks, food, and more fun. We stopped in Mexico, ate in America, then closed the evening out near Japan to watch Illuminations. Oh, and I have to mention, it was humbling and awesome to see everyone show up with home made TMSM swag that they were sporting. From signs, to shirts….. to pins and even a “TMSM Super Fan” cape, we saw it all.
All in all, the Fall Meet Up for TMSM was an incredible success, it was a blessing. People had a great time and are already asking when we’re going to do it again! I promise to come up with another date soon so stay tuned. I’d like to thank everyone who came out to meet us, and for those who followed along with us from home. A special thank you to Paula and Michelle, my Michigan family for being here, as well as Autumn, Corey and Mike, my admins. To those of you who came to meet us from all over the country, to those who are Florida locals, I tried to give every one of you a hug because you all mean that much to me. Your support is everything, and you are valued. Thank you, ALL of you. I can’t wait to do this again! That’s our recap for this Wednesday, and of course as always, I appreciate you reading each week. Till next time…. See Ya Real Soon! ~M

I have to say I was quite disappointed by it. Me and my husband rushed to get to Orlando two days early just so we could hang out with yall. I commented on here about two or three weeks before it happened about how we go about doing it and how the fastpasses work. Do we have to get our own or are they supplied for?
No response.
I show up at the electric umbrella and don’t see anyone. I check your page for a live tweet like you said was to be there all day.
No post.
I finally find three mainstreeters and start talking to them just to find out hat we were to supply our own fastpasses that were sold out by this time. So me and my husband follow them upstairs to sign in. Then we went off on our own thing and met up for the photo at 6.
