Stand by line open from 10:00 – 10:30 am and 2:00 – 2:30 pm only.
Resort guests can make a window reservation ahead of time that gives you a round about time to come back and wait in the restaurant.
This is a testing only period till October 29, 2014. At that time Disney will review the data collected and determine if this policy will stay and then Disney will announce the change.
This change to Be Our Guest is being implemented for 2 reasons:
1. Because of bad feedback on guest surveys.
2. Health reasons, guests were getting sick in the stand by line in the Florida heat. Some guests were fainting and others were vomiting in line, and guest safety must come first.
This, dear Main Streeters is why TMSM does not report rumors and waits to hear it straight from the source. As we hear more news from Disney direct we will report it so stay tuned.

Any word on whether or not on-property guests arriving after 10/29 will be able to book the FastPass+ for BOG at all?
I’m sure November arrivals will be anxious to hear. Rumor has it that no FastPass+ reservations have been accessible in November, even 27 days out (or closer, for that matter).
They haven’t said. The Manager I spoke with said that they won’t make an announcement or a decision till after October 29th! We’ll stay on top of it though, and let you all know we hear!
We had a trial fast pass back in August and WE LOVED it! We picked our meal before we even left for vacation! We get there, they let us in and they brought our food to the table within 10 minutes. It was amazing. The food and the atmosphere is worth using a Fast Pass for! We were also done lunch and on our merry way in no time!
Not sure if I like where this can lead, but I’m always giving Disney the benefit of the doubt and will wait and see…
