Recently, we were invited to come and tour the new I Drive 360 complex that’s currently being built on International Drive in Orlando Florida. What exactly is “I Drive 360” you ask? Well, let me tell you, we got a look of what’s to come and it’s amazing. I Drive 360 will feature dining and entertainment that caters to visitors of all ages, including Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, The Orlando Eye Observation Wheel 4D Experience, Sea Life Aquarium, and Skeletons Museum of Osteology just to name a few.
In addition to fun activities to do and see, there will be great places to eat while you’re there, including the Shake Shack, Cafe De Paris, Wine Bar, Food Court inside the main hub, Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream, Cowgirls, and Tin Roof just to name a few, with different themed night clubs including a full bar for evening entertainment.
The courtyard to the complex has an urban-metro feel, and features a Vegas like fountain which displays a show every 30 minutes. Also in the courtyard and around the complex, I Drive 360 will feature touch screen directories to help guests get information and decide what direction they’d like to take. Another awesome feature to this new entertainment spot, is that the complex features a FREE parking garage for visitors. That’s right, there’s no charge for parking!
Being that the I Drive 360 area has so many activities and entertainment options, we’re going to tell our readers about each part of the complex in a series of articles. Yes, there’s that much to do and see! I know for me, walking around the construction area, and seeing first hand all the great things that are being build, was truly exciting. The Orlando Eye Observation Wheel is quite impressive, and only the base is up so far. It’s quite a site to see! Watch for future updates with full details on each attraction that the Orlando Eye area will feature. We’re really excited for this new area to open, and I’m sure once we fill you in on all it has to offer, you will be too!
