Monsters Inc. Paper Plate Craft by Janel Adani
Being that I am a stay at home mom, I am always in search of some fun and simple crafts to do with my toddler. And of course, being huge Disney fans, almost all of our crafts are Disney related. This craft was super easy to do with my toddler and fun to do with the rest of my kids as well.
I will say though, my son just turned 3 so I did have to help him finish his coloring, but he did enjoy the markers and cutting quite a bit.
Supplies
Paper Plate
Green construction paper
White Paper
Green marker
Blue Marker
Black Marker
Scissors
Glue or tape
What to do
This craft really doesn’t need much explanation. It’s pretty simple to do just by looking at the picture. Cut 4 strips of construction paper for the arms and legs. Fold over into small squares to create an accordion effect. Set aside. Have your child color the entire paper plate green. To make the eye, cut out a big circle out of white paper and then color in a blue ring and a black circle to make the eye. Glue onto the paper plate. The mouth can be drawn in or created with white paper. Cut the horns out with white paper and then glue onto plate. Once complete, glue or tape on the arms and legs.
That’s it! Super simple and lots of fun for your little ones. My son had a blast doing this and I look forward to doing it with my 7 year old!
