Until “Halloween on the High Seas Cruises” premiered in 2013 the only Halloween excitement available to Disney Cruisers on ship was trick or treating on Halloween. This new approach to bringing added fun to fall Disney Cruises was such a hit, it is returning this year, and starts later this month!
Each ship will have special entertainment, decor, and the amazing Halloween Tree that originally was only on the Dream last year, will be on all four Disney ships this year. The Halloween Tree will be found in the Atrium of each ship and will transform during each Halloween cruise. Other special events include an adults only costume contest, “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream” a sing along version of the movie that ends with a Jack and Sally meet and greet, a “campfire” Haunted Stories of the Sea story telling session on deck, Halloween themed activities and crafts, “Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party” a atrium party with games and Disney Friends in their Halloween costumes, a Halloween Movie marathon that will run on a special channel on the in-room tvs and on Funnel Vision! Halloween Sailings will be 9/7-10/31/14 on the Dream, 9/27-10/26/14 on the Magic, 9/6-10/25/14 on the Fantasy and 9/26-10/31/13 on the Wonder.
