Disney from a Teen’s Perspective: Kilimanjaro Safari

Well I think it’s only appropriate to have a “Ride Spotlight” so what better way than to start with one of my favorites the Kilimanjaro Safaris! Doesn’t everyone love this ride?

Basically it’s a safari through East Africa. You get to see all these different and beautiful animals! From giraffes to cheetahs, you will DEFINITELY see one of your favorites! Well unless you’re a lion fan, they’re rarely out. I’m personally a big zebra fan so when I heard that they added zebras to the attraction I was super excited!

If you like to take nature pictures, like myself, you will LOVE all the different picture opportunities. Just be ready with your camera! One of the best animals to take pictures of is the cheetahs. They’re almost always back by a tree so being able to zoom in on them is great!

The one thing I really miss about the safari is that they got rid of the elephant rescue. If you haven’t been to Disney in a long long time you’re probably going “whaaaat?” I definitely will always miss this part of the ride. It just added a little more fun and excitement to the ride.

This is definitely a must ride. If I were you I would get a Fastpass for it since the wait can get really long.

So here’s my question for you: What animal do YOU look forward to seeing on the safari?

About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
