Last night, our friend Big Fat Panda was on hand for the special event, Villains Unleashed at Hollywood Studios. The premise of the event was, you guessed it, unleashing everyone’s favorite Disney Villains for a special evening. Hades was your master of ceremonies, and he hosted a stage show featuring the bad guys that you love to hate! Take a look on the link below! Thanks to our friend Panda for sending us the details, be sure to check out his other videos as well, they’re always entertaining. Enjoy!

Villains Unleashed was better this year, but still not that great. The problems as I saw them:
1) Most of the “villains” were really henchmen, not villains. Keep the list to the top 15 instead of 50. And bring ALL of them out on stage for the show. Don’t just say “you can see this one here”. BIG disappointment, especially when Maleficent didn’t show on stage!
2) Fast passes to greet the villains. I was not about to wait 6 hours last year or 3 1/2 hours this year to see someone in costume (as much as I love Maleficent). There has to be a better way.
3) $15 for a “specialty drink”? All because of the “glowing poison apple”? Sell those separately and Disney could make big bucks off them alone.
4) Have more than one place to buy merchandise, although I do have to say that at least this year you could GET merchandise – it wasn’t out early in the day and gone by the time the party started.
I do love the fact that it’s a hard ticket event. Much lower crowds and better managed! It was obvious that Disney learned a lot from last year’s event, but there is still work to do.
I do love the lanyard idea. They should do that for all hard-ticket events!
Not sure if I’ll pay the extra to go next year…..
