A Lesson in Photobombing Olafs

1 On my way back home to Florida, I started putting Olaf in random pictures. Some of you may have seen them already, but I thought I might give you guys a quick tutorial since I’ve been asked “how do you do that?”

2I do everything on my phone with two – three apps. This first step can either be the easiest or the hardest step: getting rid of the background to a photo. You want to make (or do a google search for) a transparent. All this is, is a picture without it’s background. I normally google (example) “Olaf transparent” to see if someone already made one and to save me time.

3If you can’t find a premade transparent, you can easily make one yourself with one free app. In your app store search for a “background eraser” and pick the one that suits you the best!

4 The last thing you need to do (probably my favorite part) is to put Olaf wherever you want in his new picture! The only app you need for this part is a collage app to layer the photos. Let me just tell you; try making multiple versions of the pictures. The picture above is a falling Olaf and the one below is Olaf in Rapunzels hair.

5You can also do it to your own personal photos. Here’s my sister Hailee hanging out with Olaf and Sven.

6 Now you know how to make photobombing Olafs! The ideas are endless from adding a little bit of magic to your own photos, to playing around with different characters and backgrounds. I just love making these! A lot of people are enjoying them too. They were saying that it put smiles on their faces. Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to continuing to put smiles on your faces.

About TMSM’s Teen Perspective Writer Gabby Adani:
”Hi Mainstreeters! I’m Gabby and I’m going to be writing about Disney from a teen’s perspective. But first let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’m 13 years old and have had Disney Annual Passes my whole life. Disney is literally my second home. I’m an honors student and enjoy school. My favorite sport is volleyball. I play for both my middle school team and the YMCA. I am also a huge fan of Star Wars.”
