From the Oh My Disney blog:
It’s good to exercise empathy from time to time – to see things from a different perspective, walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, and, you know, show some compassion. After all, life would be a lot less colorful if we only saw half of the big picture. So, let’s take a step back, do a little head tilt, and look at things from the baddies’ POV. (Disclaimer: We do not condone villainy, cartoon or otherwise!)
Jafar
Jafar’s only friend in all of Agrabah is a parrot. Face it, you’d go a bit crazy too if Iago was your one companion in life.
Yzma
Pre-llama days, Kuzco was a straight-up brat. If anything, turning him into that fuzzy, hooved critter was the best thing anyone could’ve done to make him rethink his egotistical ways. (Thanks, Yzma!) Bonus: she’s extra cute as a kitten.
Hades
Could you imagine being banished to serve the Underworld for eternity by your own brother? While everyone’s living it up in Olympus, Hades is stuck shepherding gloomy spirits into a sea of death and despair. Bummer, right? Can’t blame a guy for wanting a better life for himself and reaching for the stars.
Ursula
Sure, she’s pretty twisted, but Ursula rocks a red lip and accessories like no other. Plus, without this sea witch’s potions and powers, Ariel wouldn’t have sprouted legs and spent her landlubbing days with Prince Eric.
Captain Hook
Poor Hook lost his hand to a hungry croc and it was all Peter Pan’s doing. He gets heckled on the regular. (Remember the codfish chant?) Plus, his arch-nemesis has the gift of flight. It’s really not a fair fight.
Lady Tremaine
Lady Tremaine would go to the ends of the earth for her daughters, Anastasia and Drizella. And truth be told, they need all the help they can get. Basically, Lady T. is the most ferocious mom on the block.
Cruella de Vil
Cruella’s…hmm… well…nope. We got nothing. Anyone who would ever think to harm a puppy is basically pure evil.
