I saw this story in my news feed yesterday, and thought I’d share for those who didn’t see it. I know a lot of us feel that the frenzy over “Frozen” has gotten to be a bit much, but this lady took her love of Frozen to the extreme…
A woman in Japan supposedly has asked her husband for a divorce because he didn’t like the film Frozen!
This was according to the Japanese website sources are saying called Kikonsha no Hakaba (loosely Google-translated to “The Gravesite of Married People”), a married woman became obsessed with Frozen and made her husband go see it with her.
According to reports, despite being familiar with the Hans Christian Anderson story The Snow Queen, upon which the movie is loosely based, the husband just didn’t like the movie very much and couldn’t understand why his wife was so over the top crazy for the movie.
Her reply was this:
“If you can’t understand what makes this movie great, there’s something wrong with you as a human being! I want a divorce!” Afterwards, the woman ended the six-year marriage and moved back in with her parents! I guess she just couldn’t “Let it Go…..” Bad pun, I know! It just goes to show you that the Frozen frenzy is still a strong and crazy thing!
