For months now, Disney has been talking about the Girl Meets World series set to debut on the Disney Channel. The thing they have always lacked is giving us the exact premiere date of the show. We now have it, Girl Meets World will debut on the Disney Channel on June 27, 2014.
In case you are sitting and wondering, what is Girl Meets World? It’s a spin off of the 90’s sitcom Boy Meets World. In the original sitcom, we followed Cory Matthews and his antics of family, friends and school. Now the new show will follow the life of his daughter Riley, as she navigates the challenges of her life. Ben Savage who played Cory in the original show will reprise his role, along with Danielle Fishel who played Topanga, his girlfriend in the original show and now his wife and mother of Riley. In addition to Ben and Danielle from the original show, others from the 90’s hit sitcom will be involved. If you were a fan of Boy Meets World, you will have to tune in for the new series.
