Shannon Swanson, Public Relations Manager, Disneyland Resort recently asked guests after riding the newly refurbished “Big Thunder Mountain Railroad”.
The ride was closed for a long time and from the guests comments in the video you can tell the ride was very much missed.
The ride reopened on March 17, 2014. In addition to an upgraded track, restoration of the historic Rainbow Ridge Mining Town, repainting on portions of the mountain and updates to the ride vehicles, the refurbishment also includes some new surprises that guests should be on the lookout for.
